Comprehensive Sleep Care Designed Around the Whole Person
Integrative Sleep Care was created to provide a more complete model of virtual sleep care — one that combines sleep disorder medicine with cognitive, behavioural, psychological, lifestyle, and wellness-informed approaches.
Our Philosophy
Many sleep clinics focus primarily on testing or equipment. Those services matter, but sleep health is often shaped by broader medical, mental health, lifestyle, and occupational factors. We look beyond a single diagnosis to understand the full picture and develop practical, personalized care strategies.
We recognize that sleep disorders rarely occur in isolation. Our whole-person model combines evidence-informed sleep care with insights from multiple specialized areas of medicine, with the goal of supporting meaningful, sustainable improvements in sleep, health, resilience, performance, quality of life, and long-term well-being.
Our Core Principles
Whole-Person Care
We consider sleep within the broader context of physical health, mental health, lifestyle, work demands, stress, and long-term wellness.
Trauma-Informed Care
We recognize that trauma, PTSD, moral injury, and nervous system dysregulation may significantly affect sleep, safety, trust, and quality of life.
Patient-Centred Care
We emphasize respect, choice, collaboration, and practical recommendations that fit each person's goals and circumstances.
Evidence-Informed Care
Our recommendations are grounded in sleep disorder medicine, behavioural sleep science, clinical judgement, and whole-person health principles.
Collaborative Team-Based Care
Our multidisciplinary team supports education, care coordination, treatment planning, behavioural change, and follow-up.
Trauma-Informed, Patient-Centred Sleep Care
At Integrative Sleep Care, we recognize that trauma, chronic stress, PTSD, moral injury, hyperarousal, and nervous system dysregulation can significantly affect sleep, health, relationships, resilience, and quality of life.
- Safety: We aim to create a care experience that feels respectful, calm, and supportive.
- Choice: Patients are encouraged to understand their options and participate in decisions about their care.
- Collaboration: We work with patients and, where appropriate, existing healthcare providers to support coordinated care.
- Empowerment: Education, practical tools, and follow-up support are used to build confidence and sustainable change.
